a few passing precious days with an even more precious friend and her sweet, sweet babies……all you want to do is STOP. the. TIME. You want to stop it so that it moves further no more. It’s already moved so fast and so furious. Taking us from our college campus at 19 to mother’s of 33 with two children. In. An. Instant.
So I do. I capture the moment. Their beauty. Because I am blessed with the eye or the heart or the eye within the heart…….to be able to capture slices of little lives. Of old and new lives and loves and God knows what else.
With camera in hand, I stopped a moment in time. For 20 minutes on a hot July afternoon in complete chaos.
Her little heavenly babies….who live across the entire world….made me, and my shutter happy heart……..one grateful friend today. Cliche or not, the only way to really take these memories and keep them completely still is to click away. one photograph at a time.
Or ten.
A million miles away, in Dubai you are. But today, you were with me. And that made me HAPPY.
